The Writing Center offers free one-on-one tutoring for all NMSU students and faculty, from undergraduate to PhD. We work with our clients on all types of writing, including writing for classes, presentations, and scholarships, as well as writing for other purposes, such as creative writing or assignment guidelines.

The NMSU Writing Center values the work of writers. We strive to help visitors become more knowledgeable, practiced, and confident writers through collaborative, dialogue-centered consultations. We also value the opportunity to learn from our experiences working with clients in order to become better writers, tutors, and teachers. We offer writing assistance both in-person in the form of a 30-minute drop-in session and online by appointment. In-person sessions are unlimited and can be used as many times as needed throughout the semester.
